| The paintings and constructions are primarily oil on canvas with occasional low relief elements of wood and cut out aluminum plate. A wide variety of painting techniques may be in use: poured, incised, sanded, scraped, peeled, glazed, brushed, encaustic, photo transfer. The paintings are generally started from thumbnail sketches, but radically morph during the process of painting and usually take six months to a year to complete. |

| The framed miniature constructions are oil and mixed media on hardboard with a custom frame. These constructions are a remix of some of the traditional aesthetics of persian and indian miniatures -- gold leaf, pattern, saturated color and ornamental detail, with contemporary design and painting techniques. |
